Dracula!
Here’s what you’ve all been waiting for :)
Thanks to Virmir for all his help getting the awesome new site online, and for teaming up with me to promote Crimson Flag and Dracula as sister sites. We share a chat and a forum board!
Oh, and a new page updated, too ;) Check back on Saturdays.
Original Art for Sale, and Commissions
btw, as promised, here’s a megatherium ^_^
I am working on several projects, right now, including private commissions. A few people have asked me if I’m open for commissions, and the answer, now that I’m done with the icons and the paper bugs, is yes. New commissions go to the bottom of my list in the order they’re received.
Right now, I’m working on a set of illustrations and my commission queue through the end of May. New art gets worked on as I reach it, and if you’d like to get on my list, I need stuff to work on in June!
My current rates:
8.5×11 piece with background and 1-2 characters - $75
8.5×11 piece with 1-2 characters and no background - $40
3×4 character badge with pinback holder or a 3.5×2.5 ACEO - $30
LJ Icon - $15 (I usually offer a cheaper rate for over 20 icons, but I need a break from large icon batches, for a bit ;) )
Pencil sketch (1 character, no background) - $10
This doesn’t include the cost of shipping. If you’re going to AC, I can bring your art along with me for pickup to save you the shipping cost.
If you’re interested, please send me an email at coyotepuck@gmail.com
If you’d like some art, but don’t want to wait for a commission, I sell original pieces through etsy. I’ve just put up some of those grayscale worldbook pictures! Check it out! http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5012261
Paper Things
I’ve been working on a set of paper cutout things for eXperience, Inc
First of all, here are some incomplete (backs missing, etc) of a few of the fold-up clockwork bugs I did . The concept is that they turn inside out, and the mouth part is flipped around to reveal a tool part - the bugs are transformers XD
Ekwara - page one
I decided to go with inks for this project. I do really like the look of the marker and watercolor panels, but it takes too much time to be realistic for this project as i want to do it. Enjoy the preview! It still needs sound effects added, but that’s a minor thing.

Work this Month
I am back from working at a convention this weekend, and will be working on the remaining icons until they are finished. Then, it will be May, and May shall be a month of glorious steampunk! It’s going to be fun, guys :)
I am really liking the interconnectedness of my blog with my livejournal and my twitter. It’s nice to have everything all in one place.
Tomorrow, I’ll be starting up the Extinct Animal of the Day, again. I am apparently the extinct animal of the day, today. Look, I am back from the dead! It’s a miracle! ;D
